Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 7pm tonight until 4am on Monday. 7-11 in. of snow likely. Use caution.
The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow and blowing snow which is in effect from 7pm tonight to 4am on Monday. Snow accumulations of 7-11 inches expected with localized higher amounts possible. Winds will increase Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening 15-30 mph with higher gusts possible.
Impact:
Visibility will be reduced. Roads will become snow covered slick and hazardous. Blowing snow will cause drifting issues making some roads impassable.
Instructions:
Make sure you have an emergency kit in your vehicle, Keep your cell phone charged and have at least a 1/2 tank of gas in your car. Reduce your speed and increase your following distance. Do not try to drive down roads that appear to be drifted.
