THE NWS HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 AM MONDAY.

A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE OHIO VALLEY SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS...A WINTRY MIX WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
WARMER AIR WILL BE PULLED UP AHEAD OF THE LOW ON SUNDAY AND THIS WILL CHANGE THE PRECIPITATION TO RAIN PRIMARILY SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 70 CORRIDOR. BECAUSE OF THIS...SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE
HIGHLY DEPENDENT ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. AS COLDER AIR MOVES IN BEHIND THE LOW...PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF THROUGH EARLY
MONDAY MORNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 AM EST MONDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
