The Downey Police Department Neighborhood Watch Program will be hosting its 2nd Annual Block Captain meeting on Wednesday, February 25th from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Barbara J. Riley Center, located at 7810 Quill Drive, Downey, CA 90242.
During the meeting, Downey Police Detectives will provide Block Captains with tips on residential and vehicle burglary prevention. Representatives from Public Works will also address lighting and speed bump concerns. Additionally, Block Captains will be given an opportunity to network and share their strategies for success.
