The Chula Vista Public Library will host programs this week, Mon, Feb 2 - Sun, Feb 8 in honor of Valentine's Day, Groundhog Day, the Affordable Care Act, Tax Time, the Oscars, and much more! All free of charge!

Valentine's Day Workshop for Kids, Tues, Feb 3, 5:30 pm: Civic Center Library. Children ages 6-12 are invited to create their own Valentine's cards for friends and loved ones. The library will provide the supplies; you just need to bring your creativity!

AARP Will Prepare Your Taxes for Free! Volunteer tax preparers from AARP are back again this year to help you with your taxes. Civic Center Library, 365 F St: Mon/Wed/Sat, 10 am - 2 pm, starts Feb 2; South Chula Vista Library, 389 Orange Av: Tues/Thurs/Fri, 10 am - 2 pm, starts Feb 3. No appointments or reservations necessary; first-come; first-served.

CYT Theater Performance: Disney's "Mulan, Jr.", Sun, Feb 8, 2 pm Civic Center Branch. Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu must save the Emperor!

Groundhog Day Crafts: Will the Groundhog see his shadow? Kids ages 6 & up join us for this special craft. Otay Ranch Branch (Otay Ranch Town Center, next to Food Court), Tues, Feb 3, 4 pm. South Chula Vista Branch, Wed, Feb 4, 4 pm. Reservations required.
