Ryan T. Steed, 19 of Tell City was arrested January 31, 2015. Patrolman Ryan M. Smith stopped the vehicle Steed was driving for driving left of center and improper headlights.
During the course of the traffic stop, Smith developed probable cause to believe Steed was operating while intoxicated. While conducting a search incident to arrest, Smith found Steed to be in possession of a synthetic drug.
As a result, Steed was arrested and transported to the Perry County Detention Center. Steed was incarcerated on the following charges.
- Possession of Synthetic Drug, a Class A Misdemeanor, 1 Count,
- Minor Consumption of Alcohol, a Class C Misdemeanor, 1 Count,
- Operating While Intoxicated, a Class C Misdemeanor, 1 Count, and
- Operating While Intoxicated-Endangerment, a Class A Misdemeanor, 1 Count
