Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station will once again, be hosting American Red Cross “Battle of the Badges” Blood Drive

The Battle of the Badges blood drive began in 2007 in Southern California as an opportunity for badge-carrying personnel to help hospital patients in need through a friendly competition. In seven years, the program has become the nation’s largest and most successful law enforcement blood drive.

We are inviting the entire community to help Crescenta Valley Station have a successful and much needed blood drive. Last year, we were able to achieve our goal of thirty donations.  We would have never reached our goal without the help of the local community. Please tell your family and friends about this opportunity to help save a life.  This year we would like to raise our goal to fifty. 

The Battle of the Badges is an opportunity for all law enforcement members, and the community, to make a positive impact for those who need blood.  Crescenta Valley Station Battle of the Badges can have a substantial impact on the availability of blood for accident victims, cancer patients, premature babies and burn patients.

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station will have the Red Cross Blood Mobile parked here at Crescenta Valley Station’s public parking lot on Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
