Residents in the areas surrounding Schofield Barracks may notice increased training noise through Friday, as the Marines conduct field artillery training.

Overcast conditions increase noise and vibrations. Smoke may be visible for a short time; however, there is no immediate danger.

While sometimes loud and inconvenient, the military in Hawaii appreciates the community’s understanding and continued support as we ensure our nation’s service members are ready to accomplish any mission.
