Lanesville Man Arrested for Child Molestation
Harrison County- A Lanesville resident stands accused of Child Molestation stemming from a three month State Police investigation.
In November of 2014, Detective Dave Mitchell began investigating David H. Crawford, 59, after a former family member alleged they were molested by Crawford when the victim was between the ages of six and twelve. The investigation concluded on February 5th when Detective Mitchell turned the case over to the Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office and was granted an arrest warrant out of the Harrison County Superior Court for four counts of Child Molestation, Class A Felony.
After obtaining the arrest warrant, Detective Mitchell was assisted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s department and arrested David Crawford at his residence located at 2889 Memory Lane NE in Lanesville, IN.
David Crawford was transported to the Harrison County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
