Cass County Sheriff Joseph M Underwood Jr and Cass County Office of Emergency Management is asking that all motoring public stay off the roadways in Cass County unless absolutely necessary.
Large amounts of snow, high winds and drifting road conditions have made travel in Cass County very hazardous. Numerous slid offs and accidents are making some areas impassable. Cass County Road Commission plows have been pulled from the roads due to the visibility issues and will not return until morning.
If it's not an emergency stay off the roads.

Instructions:

Please stay off all roads in the county unless absolutely necessary. Drifting snow, white outs and abandon vehicles are making it nearly impossible for fire and emergency vehicles to respond to emergencies safely.
