Please be prepared for a scheduled power outage, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Feb. 21, affecting all the red areas on Schofield Barracks, including these facilities that are normally operational on a Saturday:

-Housing:
Quads: B, C, D, E, and F;
Barracks: 9000 Block, 2nd SBCT;
Island Palm Communities: Canby, General’s Loop, Medonca Park, Patriot, and Castner;

Residents need to unplug all electrical devices. Failure to do so delays power being restored to housing areas by 2 to 4 hours, due to the initial load shorting out the power sources when restored.

-Medical:
This closure will affect Schofield Barracks Health Clinic, including the Acute Care Clinic, Pharmacy, Radiology and Laboratory.

Wahiawa General and Tripler Army Medical Center will be running at full capacity. Call 911 for medical emergencies.

-Recreation and Morale Facilities:
Tropic Lightning Museum,
Martinez Physical Fitness Center,
Schofield Bowl,
SGT Yano Library,
Warren Skills Development Center,
Richardson Pool,
Health and Fitness Center,
Tennis Courts Office,
Tropics,

-Dining Facilities:
2nd SBCT DFAC,
3rd BCT DFAC,

Only the Sustainment Bistro K-Quad DFAC will be open.

Additional facilities may be impacted that are not listed above. If the buidling is located in the red zone, it will be affected.
