WINTER STORM TRAVEL WARNING (Level 2) RESINDED—LEVEL ONE REMAINS IN EFFECT

Alexandria, KY — February 22, 2015 // 11:00 AM — The Campbell County Office of Emergency Management, with the concurrence of the Campbell County Transportation Department, Campbell County Police Department, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and the County Judge/Executive's Office has lowered its Level Two Travel Warning to a Level One Travel Advisory.

A Level One Travel Advisory is intended to notify Campbell County residents of hazardous road conditions. Cautious driving is advised.

William R. Turner, Director of the Campbell County Office of Emergency Management reminds motorist to still use extreme caution when traveling local roadways. Turner noted that road crews have made good progress; however, but some side streets and rural roads are still extremely slick and ice covered in some locations.
