WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM CST MONDAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM CST MONDAY.

* WIND CHILL VALUES WILL FALL OFF INTO THE -10 TO -15 DEGREE RANGE LATER TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING AS ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE PUSHES SOUTH INTO THE REGION. ACTUAL TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO NEAR 0 WILL BE LIKELY...WITH NORTHERLY WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH. SOME WIND GUSTS IN THE 15 TO 25 MPH RANGE WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

* THIS CAN RESULT IN FROSTBITE AND MAY LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE TO WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES. DRESS IN LAYERS IF POSSIBLE AND WEAR A HEAVY COAT. PETS SHOULD BE GIVEN ADEQUATE SHELTER OR BROUGHT INDOORS. MAKE SURE WATER DISHES DO NOT FREEZE.
