Snow bands, with frequent heavy snow, are occurring in and around the City of Canyon. Motorists are encouraged to use care while driving. Give yourself adequate time to reach your destination. Keep a significant distance between your car and the car you are following. Snow is expected throughout the week into Sunday. Accumulations are expected to rise as the week progresses. Snow fall has also caused some white-out conditions between Canyon and Amarillo. Drive carefully and stay warm.
