Working in cooperation with the United States Postal Service, the Corona Police Department is promulgating a tri-fold handout to the citizens of Corona on how to protect themselves from mailbox theft. The handout provides phone numbers to several local and federal resources. The handout also includes several tips on preventing mail theft, how to report suspicious activity and how mail theft can lead to other crimes.

The handout can be found at the Corona Police Department’s website http://discovercorona.com/. The flyer will also be available at the front lobby of the Corona Police Department, located at 730 Public Safety Way, Corona, California 92880.

Working closely with community partners, the Corona Police Department believes that enhancing community knowledge and awareness will aid in preventing a rapidly increasing crime trend throughout California.
