LaPaz Search Warrant Lands Subjects in Jail
Marshall County - A search warrant served Wednesday by the Indiana State Police and the Plymouth Police Department on LaPaz home, led officers to stolen property and drugs. The warrant was obtained for the Marshall County home located at 217 W. 1st Rd. after the culmination of an investigation.
During the execution of the warrant three suspects were located inside the home. They include 27 year-old David Schutz, 19 year-old Jeremy Yeager, and 32 year-old Chad Richard. There was also young child located in the residence at the time.
Police discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, meth manufacturing precursors, burnt meth lab reaction vessels, drug paraphernalia, and several stolen items.
This investigation led police to search the nearby apartment of Chad Richard located at 200 N. Michigan St. in LaPaz. While searching the apartment police located, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more stolen property.
Later the same day state police located 24 year-old Mystesia Yeager in Mishawaka who was wanted on a warrant through Marshall County. Yeager was on probation through Marshall County for a previous methamphetamine manufacturing conviction and had ties with the LaPaz home.
All subjects arrested were transported to the Marshall County jail and face several drug related charges.
