Investigators Conducting Death Investigation in Orange County
Orange County: Indiana State Police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department are conducting a death investigation in Orange County.
Around 11:30 A.M., officers responded to 5491 West County Road 100 North, West Baden, where family members found Franklin D. McCracken, 30, West Baden, inside the residence with unknown injuries. McCracken was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY, where he succumbed to his wounds.
Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are actively investigating the case and are considering it a death investigation, pending an autopsy on McCracken scheduled for Sunday.
