The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the positions of Deputy Sheriff’s and Corrections officers. These positions may be full or part-time.
Individuals seeking employment as a Deputy Sheriff must possess a valid Ohio Basic Peace Officer's Certification prior to any starting date.
The hourly wages for these positions are as follows…
Deputy Sheriff, full-time $16.69
Deputy Sheriff, part-time $14.65
Corrections Officer $13.50
