THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO MIDNIGHT CST WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL INCREASE FROM THE SOUTHWEST
GENERALLY AFTER MIDNIGHT ACROSS CENTRAL ...SOUTH- CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS...AS A STORM SYSTEM INTENSIFIES ACROSS THE
REGION. PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE FROM THE NORTH
DURING THE DAY WEDNESDAY...EXITING FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS
WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW WILL BE THE PREDOMINANT PRECIPITATION TYPE
WITH THIS SYSTEM...ALTHOUGH A WINTRY MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING
RAIN IS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING OVER FAR
SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM 1 TO 2
INCHES...WITH ISOLATED 3 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY OVER
CENTRAL AND FAR SOUTHERN KANSAS.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...SHOULD REMAIN FAIRLY LIGHT...ALTHOUGH COULD
BE ENOUGH TO INDUCE VERY SLICK ROADS...ESPECIALLY OVER FAR
SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.
