WSAZ weather states that Vinton Co is under a flood watch tonight with heavy rains starting at midnight. Possible 2"-3" of rain is expect. With the ground being frozen, the water will run off into the creeks and streams, which will cause flooding in the normal areas of the county. If you will be out on the roads tomorrow, please have back up routes to take if you find flooding. Please DO NOT try to drive through the flooding! Vinton Co is also expected to get between 6"-10" of snow Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning. Please check the Vinton Co Sheriffs Office Facebook page for level updates.
