February 27th Home Invasion Robbery

On February 27, 2015, a home invasion robbery occurred at a residence in the area of Brunache St. and Rives Ave. A male resident was inside his home when he saw three suspects walking up to his front door. Two suspects were described as male Hispanics in their mid-20’s wearing dark hoodies, both carrying handguns. The third suspect was a female White or Hispanic in her mid-20’s wearing a white and black hoodie. The three suspects entered the house demanding money from the victim. The victim ran outside and called 911.
Downey Police Officers arrived approximately two minutes after receiving the 911 call and immediately set a containment of the residence. It was unknown at the time if the suspects left the residence before Downey Police arrived. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau arrived and made entry into the residence; however, they did not find any suspects inside.
It’s unknown if there was any property taken from inside the house. The victim did not sustain any injuries. There were no vehicles seen arriving or leaving the residence.
