CAMPBELL COUNTY WINTER STORM TRAVEL WARNING (Level 2) TO REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL AT LEAST MID DAY FRIDAY
Alexandria, KY — March 5, 2015 // 9:30 AM— The Campbell County Office of Emergency Management, with the concurrence of the Campbell County Transportation Department, Campbell County Police Department, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and the County Judge/Executive's Office has ANNOUNCED THE CONTINUATION of the Level Two Travel Warning for Campbell County, Kentucky UNTIL MID DAY FRIDAY. This travel warning is intended to notify Campbell County residents that roadways are extremely hazardous with ice and snow. Only motorists whose travel is absolutely necessary should be on the roadways.
Residents are urged to contact their employer to see if they should report to work. County officials are requesting that travel in Campbell County be limited to essential travel or emergency vehicles only.
Essential travel is defined as that travel necessitated for life sustaining means, including but not limited to; travel for medical purposes, travel for obtainment of food or water, travel for employment purposes, or travel for obtainment of heating fuel or heating sources.
