Level 2 Snow Advisory as of 0700 March 6, 2015
Gallia County Sheriff Joseph R. Browning, after consulting with the Gallia County EMA Director Sherry Daines and County Road Supervisor from the Gallia Co. Engineers Office, has lowered the Gallia County Snow Advisory to a level 2 Snow emergency effective at 7:00 AM on March 6, 2015.
A level 2 Snow Advisory means that roadways are dangerous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it is absolutely necessary should be out on the roadways. You should contact your employer to see if you need to report to work.
Note that Most State Routes, primary roads have been cleared however many secondary roads still remain snow-covered. We also advise to use extreme caution while driving as some roads may still have downed trees as well as high water in low lying areas.
