Sunrise Little League Opening Day Parade - Rolling Street Closures Advisory for Saturday, March 7th: 
On Saturday, March 7, 2015, beginning at approximately 7:00 am, LAPD Topanga Area will be providing rolling street closures to assist in the safe travel of the Sunrise Little League Opening Day Parade.
The parade will begin at Oxnard Street/Owensmouth and proceed east to Canoga. From Canoga they will travel north to Victory blvd. Then eastbound on Victory to Winnetka, and Winnetka south to the Sunrise Little League baseball fields.
If you are traveling by vehicle in the above area between the hours of 7 am and 9 am, please be aware that there may be delays.
The parade consists of approximately 40 flat bed trucks, that have been decorated by each of the teams within the league, and riding on those trucks are the young members of these teams.
If you are in the area, this is a fun community event to come out and watch - the young baseball players are very excited for this event and put a great deal of effort into decorating their team's "float".
