Monroe City Man Arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Meth, Marijuana and Alcohol
Knox: Early Sunday morning, March 8, at approximately 12:15, Trooper John Davis stopped the driver of a Ford pickup truck for speeding on Hart Street near Second Street. When Davis approached the vehicle a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The driver was identified as Joshua Rickard, 34, of Monroe City. A search of the vehicle and Rickard’s property revealed small amounts of marijuana, meth and drug paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed Rickard was under the influence of methamphetamine, marijuana and alcohol. His blood alcohol content was .15%. Rickard was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail. He was released earlier this morning after posting bond.
