Full Notification

I-65 NB at the 178 MM is closed due to multiple crashes near the 188 MM.  All NB traffic is being exited off at the 178 exit going north on SR 43.  If you are heading NB, seek alternate routes of travel. 

"UPDATE"  I-65 SB at the 201 MM in Jasper County is closed due to multiple crashes with lane blockage to the 188 MM.  Traffic can return onto I-65 at the 188 entrance ramp in White County.  That exit is eight miles north of the SR 43/178 exit. 

NB I-65 is still closed.  Crews are working to clear the interstate at this time.  There are two confirmed fatalities from two separate crashes  This is all the information available this time.

"UPDATE"  The ramp from SR 18/188 entrance to I-65 NB is now open.  I-65 NB is open north of the 188 exit.  I-65 NB between the exits of the 178 and the 188 is still closed.  I-65 SB between the 201 and the 188 exits are still closed due to cleanup.  Seek alternate routes of travel.

"UPDATE" I-65 SB from the 201 exit to the 188 exit is now open.  Traffic is moving but at a slow pace..  I-65 NB between the 178 exit and the 188 exit remains closed.  Seek alternative routes of travel..
