Gang Task Force Arrest
On Friday, March 6, 2015, officers from the Regional Gang Task Force (GTF) Region 8 conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Buena Vista and contacted the sole occupant, Lisa Cavaluzzi (48 years of Corona). Cavaluzzi was on formal probation in Riverside County for possession of stolen property and subject to search. During the investigation a search was conducted and officers located 48.9 grams (1.7 ounces) of methamphetamine packaged in several separate baggies inside Cavaluzzi’s purse. The investigation led to a business in the 300 block of N. Cota where it appeared Cavaluzzi was currently living. A search at that location resulted in the confiscations of 4 handguns (1 of which was a reported stolen handgun from Norco in 1992), a rifle, and several high capacity magazines for different types of firearms. Cavaluzzi also had $1270 dollars in her possession which was seized per asset forfeiture laws. Cavaluzzi was booked into the Robert Presley Detection Center on possession of methamphetamine for sales, transportation of methamphetamine for sales, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.
