Warren High School Social Media Threat – Arrest Made
Earlier today, at around 11:45 a.m., the Downey Police Department arrested a male 9th grade Warren High School student for posting a threat of a shooting over social media. The student was taken into custody at Warren High School without incident.
Downey Police Detectives were able to identify the student through various investigative measures that enabled Detectives to quickly identify and apprehend the suspect. We have no information to indicate any further threat to students or faculty.
