The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...Ripley County in southeast Indiana...
* Until 10:00 PM EDT.
* At 4:00 PM EDT...radar indicated that persistent light to moderate
rain had produced over an inch of rain across the advisory area.
Rain will continue to fall through the evening with another one
half to one inch possible.
* Minor flooding of low lying and poorly drained streets...highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition...farmland near creeks...
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Stay away from flood waters and avoid flood prone areas.

A "Flood Watch" remains in effect into Saturday afternoon.
