On Sunday, 03/15/15, at approximately 11:46 a.m., Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home located in the 3100 block of W Countryside Dr in southwestern Greene County. Later in the day at approximately 1:27 p.m., GCSO Deputies responded to a home located in the 1900 block of W Williamsburg, also in southwest Greene County. GCSO Deputies located a deceased 62-year old female in the residence. There wasn't any evidence of forced entry at the home and a small caliber handgun was located near the deceased's body.
Both investigations are considered on-going and autopsies will be scheduled later in the week to determine an official cause of death, pending toxicology results.
