Norwalk Sheriff’s Station will be hosting a food drive!  Beginning on Friday, March 20^th  thru Sunday, March 29^th, we are collecting food donations for the L.A. Regional Food Bank as part of the “2015 Cesar Chavez Community Service Week.” These donations will be used to stock empty shelves at the food bank and help to feed people in need.

Please bring your non-perishable food items to the front lobby of the station and drop them off. The deputies from the station will handle the rest. If you are unable to drop off your donation, civilian volunteers will come pick them up. Please Call Sergeant Doyle at 562-466-5455 or Deputy Barragan at 562-466-5453 for a pick-up.

Here is a short list of recommended items:

• Canned meats such a tuna, chicken, spam

• Canned foods

• Peanut butter

• Boxed foods such as macaroni and cheese

• Cans of soups

• Bags of rice and beans

Please help us to help others in need! Bring your donation by at any time and we will make sure it gets to the food bank.
