LAKE LURE RESERVE OFFICER AWARDED REGION C AWARD
Lake Lure Police Department is overly proud of our own Reserve Officer Bryon Haynes for his outstanding service as a Reserve with our Department. So well done in fact that he has received the 2015 Reserve Officer of the Year Award by the Region C Awards Committee.
"I have rarely seen a reserve officer display the dedication that Officer Haynes shows toward The Lake Lure Police Department." stated Lake Lure Police Chief Sean Humphries who nominated Officer Haynes. Officer Haynes has been a Reserve Officer with Lake Lure Police Department for eight years and during that time has been dedicated by filling in where needed assisting the department in keeping the town covered. He does this while working a full-time 40 hour a week job.
Officer Haynes was present with members of his family when he attended the Region C Awards Banquet March 25th at Big Springs Church in Ellenboro.
North Carolina's Region C service area includes public safety organizations in Cleveland, Rutherford, Polk, and McDowell Counties.
We're thrilled that Officer Haynes received such a coveted award and are always proud that we have him as a member of our force.
Congratulations Officer Haynes! Pictured below are Officer Bryon Haynes (L) and Chief Sean Humphries (R)
