Wayne County Auditor, Jarra Underwood announced Field inspections of CAUV parcels to begin.
Wooster – Wayne County Auditor, Jarra Underwood announced that her office has begun field inspections of all properties participating in the Current Agriculture Use Value (CAUV) program. Ohio law requires that county auditor’s staff visit CAUV enrolled properties to ensure qualifications are met to receive a reduction in their real estate tax bill. The inspections will begin in Paint, Sugar Creek, Salt Creek and East Union Townships and continue throughout the County until the end of summer.
Auditor, Jarra Underwood wants all residents to know that anyone visiting your property relating to business of the auditor’s office will have a photo ID and will be driving a vehicle with a Wayne County Seal.
Over 7400 parcels containing 76% of all land within Wayne County is enrolled in this tax plan which provides an average savings of 54%.
