Polk Sheriff's Investigators arrest Chesnee man.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering of a residence located on Chesnee Highway in the Green Creek area March 27. Detectives began following up on leads when they received information that the items were being scraped at a recyclable business in South Carolina.
On arrival at the recyclable business, they found some of the items that had been stolen off Chesnee Road in Polk County. Items reported missing were two four wheelers, dryer, lawn mower, iron rods and a metal desk.
Investigators were able to name Casey Robinson as a primary suspect in the case. Detectives were familiar with Robinson and began canvassing locations where he is known to be, Robinson was located in the Chesnee, SC community. Robinson was still currently in possession of the two four wheelers and was taken into custody by Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Casey Ray Robinson, 28 of Chesnee S.C. was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Misdemeanor Larceny. He is currently being held in the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility where he is awaiting extradition back to Polk County. Robinson has past history of burglary and larceny. Robinson is currently being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was able to recover most all the missing items that were stolen from Chesnee Highway.
