Arrests
03/24/15 @ 1024 hrs- A Far Rockaway woman was observed operating a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed in the Village of Malverne. The vehicle was stopped by PO Castellano and a New York State drivers license check was conducted, which revealed that the operator of the vehicle was driving with a suspended drivers license. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and transported to Malverne Police headquarters for arrest processing. The defendant was released with an appearance ticket for Malverne Village Court.

03/24/15 @ 2219 hrs- An Ackley Ct resident was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in connection with a domestic dispute. The defendant was arrested by PO Hill and transported to Nassau County Detention and held for a First District Court arraignment.

03/26/15 @ 1005 hrs- A Corona Queens man was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration in the Village of Malverne. The vehicle was stopped by PO Esposito and a New York State drivers license check was conducted, which revealed that the operator of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and transported to Malverne Police headquarters for arrest processing. The defendant was released with an appearance ticket for Malverne Village Court.

03/27/15 @ 1030 hrs- A Jamaica man was observed operating a motor vehicle with an equipment violation in the Village of Malverne. The vehicle was stopped by PO Esposito and a New York State drivers license check was conducted, which revealed that the operator of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and transported to Malverne Police headquarters for arrest processing. A warrant check was conducted which revealed that the defendant had an open Malverne Village Court warrant. The defendant was released with an appearance ticket for Malverne Village Court.



Case Reports
03/26/15 @1007 hrs- An Alden Ct resident reported being the victim of an identity theft after it was determined that person(s) unknown did use his identity to file a false New York State and Federal tax return. The Internal Revenue Service and the Malverne Police Department are investigating.
