Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of two male adults that occurred on Monday, March 30, 2015 at approximately 4:30 PM in the 15100 block of Mansel Avenue, Lawndale.
Detectives have learned that deputies from South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call. When the deputies arrived they discovered that two victims had suffered gunshot wounds. Both victims were shot while standing in the driveway of the location. The victims were transported to a local hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect was last seen running southbound on Mansel Avenue. As the suspect reached 153rd Street, a second shooting occurred. It is unknown if anyone was hit during the second shooting. The suspect is outstanding.
