Narrative:

On March 4, 2015, at about 6:44 PM, units from the Moorpark Police Department responded to a three-car traffic collision on Los Angeles Avenue at Spring Road in the City of Moorpark. Belinda Razo was driving her car westbound on Los Angeles Avenue at Spring Road when it collided into the driver’s side of Deborah Mickelson’s truck, which was turning from southbound Spring Road to eastbound Los Angeles Avenue. As a result of the initial collision, Mickelson’s truck continued southwest across the intersection colliding into the front of Sears’ car, which was stopped for the traffic signal eastbound on Los Angeles Avenue at Spring Road in the #2 lane.

Razo, Mickelson, and a passenger in Razo’s car were all transported by AMR Ambulance to Los Robles Hospital for their injuries.

Razo was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and the investigation continues by the Moorpark Traffic Bureau. Anyone who may have witnessed this traffic collision is encouraged to contact the Moorpark Traffic Bureau.

The intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Spring Rd. was closed with the assistance of Cal-Trans for approximately five hours while investigators made measurements and collected evidence.
