Weather changes for potential ice/sleet/freezing rain and snow predicted over next 3 days. Monitor weather reports.

HAZARD ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE BERKSHIRES AND PORTIONS OF NH LATER THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS NH ON WEDNESDAY AND INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT

A Weather Advisory is issued if after review of pertinent weather information it is determined that escalating emergency conditions may be possible.

Spotty light precipitation will be possible across the region through 11am this morning. It should be snow across Coos County. It will be a mix of snow and freezing rain across Lebanon, the Monadnock Region higher terrain, and the Lakes Region. Elsewhere, it should be light rain. Additional snow accumulation: Half inch or less. Additional ice accretion: Trace. Light rain showers will be possible on and off after 2pm this afternoon through early this evening across a line from Rochester to Charlestown and point south. Otherwise, dry conditions will be likely through tonight and Wednesday morning.

2-3 DAY OUTLOOK: Spotty light rain or snow showers will be possible across southern NH after 2pm. No snow accumulation is expected. Otherwise, dry conditions will continue through the day. Somewhat organized precipitation will push through from 8pm-4am Wednesday night. This should end across northern NH. However, spotty light precipitation will be possible off and on through Thursday afternoon across southern areas. It should be mostly snow, but sleet will mix in across Western (South of Lebanon), Central South, and Seacoast. Rain will take over across lower elevations during the day Thursday. Sleet should continue across higher terrain. Snow and sleet accumulations: 1-3" across the White Mountains; Around 1 inch across lower elevations of Western (Lebanon/north), Lakes Region, and North Country; and less than 1", elsewhere. The next batch of precipitation will push through on Thursday night. Precipitation should change to freezing rain after 8-10pm Thursday for all regions except the Seacoast. Freezing rain should last through 2-4am across most of the lower elevations before a change to rain. Freezing rain should last until early Friday morning before changing to rain across higher terrain. Ice accretions: 0.05-0.15" across higher terrain and up to 0.05" across lower terrain. Winds will be below hazard levels through the period.
