On 04-08-15, the Wichita Falls Police Department's Communications Section operated completely from the alternate dispatch facility. This was the first trial run from the alternate dispatch facility since the latest upgrades to the phones and computers were implemented. The test was successful and operations were as normal. We would like to thank the Wichita Wilbarger 9-1-1 District and all of the WFPD Dispatchers that contributed to this successful event.
