Update: On Thursday, April 9, 2015, the eastbound lane of SR 56 will be closed in the morning and then the westbound lane will be closed in the afternoon, per Miller Pipeline. The work should take approximately eight hours.

Miller Pipeline Company will be conducting maintenance on pipes in the area of State Road 56 just west of the Madison city limits. They will have the westbound lane of SR 56 shut down in the area of the IKE power-plant and Dr. Kennedy's dental office. The time period for the lane shutdown is unknown but may be two hours or longer. Please use caution and avoid this area if possible.
