Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Everyone!
April 12-18, 2015 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and I wanted to personally thank our own men and women here in Jefferson County that work at Jefferson County Central Dispatch and also those that work at King’s Daughters’ Hospital EMS Dispatch Center. Thank you for the hard work you all do. Thank you for the personal sacrifices that you make working long hours around the clock, as well as on holidays, to keep us all safe. Thank you for your professionalism. Thank you for your dedication and for choosing a profession that is not easy, but that you can go home from after work knowing that you save lives every day. What you do makes a difference in the lives of the people in this community each and every day.
Please take a moment this week to thank these incredible employees for what they do! They work 24 hours per day and 365 days per year to help anyone in need. They help keep all of us, including our loved ones, safe. It’s not nearly enough, but each year we take one week to remember and salute their efforts and sacrifices.
Thank You 9-1-1 Dispatchers!
