TURN ON HEADLIGHTS: A new law requiring drivers to turn on their headlights when visibility is poor or wipers are on.
TURN ON HEADLIGHTS: A new law requiring drivers to turn on their headlights when visibility is less than 500 feet or when the use of windshield wipers is necessary is now in effect. These requirements are in addition to an existing law that mandates the use of headlights during the period from a half-hour after sunset to a half-hour before sunrise. Any violation is a surchargeable offense that could result in higher auto insurance rates for the offenders.
