Attempted Residential Break-In 
On 04-16-2015 at approximately 1:08 pm, Avondale Estates Police at City Hall received notice of an audible alarm from a residence in the unit block Covington Road. Upon arrival at the residence, responding officers discovered a broken window leading to the rear dining area. The residence was cleared by officers, with no suspects located.
Upon the arrival of the homeowner, investigation revealed no entry to the residence had been made and no items taken.
