Police Investigate Shooting
On April 14, 2015 at approximately 9:52 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of Cabernet Street for the report of shots fired. The officers met with two adult males, ages 19 and 26 outside a residence in the 500 block of Cabernet Street.
The officers found multiple bullet impacts in the front of the residence occupied by the 19 and 26 year old males, who were believed to be the intended shooting targets. The pair was uncooperative with officers at the scene and refused to provide any useful information.
Witnesses living in the area reportedly heard the sound of multiple gunshots; however, no suspects or vehicles were seen fleeing the area.
“Our detectives are investigating this shooting, and they have their work cut out for them. It’s always difficult and frustrating when a victim refuses to cooperate with investigators.”
- Jason Hedden, Police Commander
