PORTSMOUTH POLICE NEED ASSISTANCE LOCATING MISSING PERSON
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating 59 year-old John T. Davis of Portsmouth. According to detectives, family last saw Mr. Davis on Thursday evening, April 9, 2015. On Saturday, April 11, 2015 family members grew concerned and reported Mr. Davis missing when he did not return home.
John T. Davis has been known to leave his home and wander in the area between Lincoln Park homes and the Douglas Park subdivision. Detectives are concerned for Mr. Davis’ well being because he suffers from a medical condition that require medication, which he does not have with him.
John T. Davis is described as a black male standing approximately 5’7” tall and weighing between 145-160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing bright orange pants, an off white t-shirt, and mix-matched shoes.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of John T. Davis is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at (757) 393-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. Callers who call the crime line are never asked to give their name or testify in court. If their information leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
