Please be advised that on Sunday, April 19, New Brunswick Ciclovia will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. During Ciclovia, there will be full and partial closures to several main roads in New Brunswick including portions of College Avenue and George Street. This open-streets event closes 3 miles of roadways to traffic for non-motorized recreation.
No parking will be permitted beginning at 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, in the following locations:
- College Avenue between Senior Street and Hamilton Street
- Hamilton Street between College Avenue and George Street
- Bartlett Street between College Avenue and Wyckoff Street
ALL ROADS FOR THE CICLOVIA WILL BE CLOSED FROM APPROXIMATELY 10 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M. ON SUNDAY, APRIL 19.
During New Brunswick Ciclovia, the Rutgers Transit System will be serving the College Avenue Campus only at the Student Activity Center on George Street and will be picking up on both sides of the street. There will be no service in the downtown area until the event concludes, with the exception of the Rockoff Hall stop and the stop in front of Bravo Supermarket.
