Downey police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a man dead early this morning. Police received a 911 call at 2:47 a.m.reporting that a person had been shot near Woodruff Avenue and Nance Street.
Responding police officers found a man on the sidewalk who had been shot. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said have no suspects at this time, although they believe the victim was targeted.
