Bellevue Police Department Teen Academy
The Bellevue Police Department is hosting the “Teen Citizen’s Police Academy”. It will run June 8th through the 11th 2015. This is a program for Bellevue youth ages 15 to 19 that are interested in a career in Law Enforcement. We will give the teen a behind the scenes, hands on look at what it takes to be a Police Officer. We will give them the opportunity to lift fingerprints, conduct building searches, observe traffic stops, K9 and SWAT demonstrations, some light defensive tactics and much more. If you are between the ages of 15 and 19, have a GPA of at least a 2.5, no criminal record and are interested in a career in Law Enforcement, this is a great opportunity for you.
