Bloomington – While on patrol Friday evening, Trooper Riley Nungester observed a 1999 black Camaro speeding and operating without a license plate light on the State Road 45/46 Bypass heading east toward Bloomington.
During the traffic stop, Trooper Nungester detected a distinct, strong odor of raw marijuana coming from within the vehicle. An investigation revealed bags of plant matter believed to be marijuana located within the vehicle. As both occupants were placed under arrest, both were found to have large sums of cash on their person.
The total weight of the marijuana collected was approximately 562 grams (PHOTO #3).

Trooper Mike Tummers along with the Indiana Excise Police assisted with the investigation.
