Suspicious activity - possible Attempt Child Luring - Barker Road and Wildwood Lake Dr
On April 27, 2015, at around 8:30 p.m. the Northfield Township Police Department responded to the area of Barker Road and Wildwood Lake Dr on a report of a Suspicious Situation that had occurred. It was reported to the responding officer that a 13 year old boy was walking down Barker Road when he was approached by two (2) unknown males in their twenties. The subjects approached the boy and asked where he was going and attempted to convince him to get in the back seat of their vehicle - the boy refused. The boy then continued on to a store on Barker Road. When he came out and started walking back home, the subjects began following him down Barker Road with their windows down looking at him, but saying nothing. The boy then called his mother who came and picked him and brought him home.
Subjects are described at 2 White Males in their 20's driving a white four door sedan. The boy and his mother are working with the Officer in Charge and the Northfield Township Police Detective on this matter.
The Whitmore Lake Schools were not in session during this time and have been notified of the incident.
