On April 30, 2015, at approximately 12:50 PM, an AEPD officer was dispatched to a residence on Clarendon Place in reference to a Theft from Vehicle call.
Upon arrival and initial investigation, it was determined that unknown persons had taken lawn maintenance equipment from the bed of a pickup truck while the contractor was away from his vehicle. Items taken included a backpack blower and weed-trimmer. It was estimated that the theft occurred between 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM.
No suspects were known at the time of the report.

Citizens are reminded when items/equipment are not being used, to secure the items. More thefts pertaining to lawn and sporting equipment occur during the summer months.
